Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) hosted its annual Aviation Community Reception (ACR) on 24 July. The ACR is a networking event for the Aviation community, at which CAAS shares its upcoming plans for the Aviation industry. This year, approximately 300 industry guests were present. The guest of honour was Mrs Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Transport.

A mural titled “Singapore Aviation through the years” was produced by Mr Glenn Phua and displayed for the audience. A summary of CAAS’s key plans was also outlined by Mr Daniel Ng, Director of Aviation Industry Division, which focuses on enhancing Changi’s competitiveness; driving change and innovation; and building our workforce.

Mr Steven Lee’s story was quoted on the Singapore Aviation Stories – memory lane exhibits. The Singapore Aviation Stories was posted on CAAS Facebook page during August to a wider audience.
