COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course is provided based on a partnership collaboration between SAAA and AirportCollege, a strategic partner of IATA. AirportCollege provides a complete online training service for airlines, airport ground handling agents and logistics and has been an active training academy for Europe market, particularly Finland. With 3 e-learning modules, it provides introduction to Air Cargo Business, Unit Load Device Operations and Cargo Handling. 

Upon completion of these e-learning courses at your own pace, you are given an general overview on air cargo business and cargo operations. 

COURSE OUTLINE

• Overview of air cargo operations 
• Comply with international ULD training standards
• Comply with cargo acceptance and other operating standards 
• Familiarize with procedures and operating practices relating to Unit Load Device (ULD) loading, built up, storage and transport
• Manage irregularities and cargo requiring special handing

ACCREDITATION & EXAMINATION

SAAA’s co branded e-certificate with Airport College is issued upon course completion. 

COURSE FEES

Members $400.00 Non-Members $450.00 ( Price excludes prevailing 7% GST) 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Independent, self paced distance learning. 

Course length varies from topic module, ranges between 15 to 120 mins in duration.  Participants have to pass a final test to assess knowledge acquired. Upon passing, an e-certificate will be automatically sent to the registration course email address. Participants may either choose to print or keep it as an e-copy.  

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND OF FEES

On withdrawal of course upon acceptance, participant is required to write to SAAA Cargo Services Pte Ltd through their respective companies. 

Refund is only applicable based on the notification period. Else, below penalty applies.
